has responded to a big increase in teenage drinking by recommending that children under the age of 15 are not allowed to consume alcohol, even at home under parental supervision. But trade figures have described the proposals as unworkable - and told OLN about their own early drinking experiences, which they say shaped their own mature attitudes to alcohol. Agreeing to disagree

Disagreeing about wine is a fact of wine-trade life, like drugs in sport or corruption in politics. Because taste is entirely subjective, debates about our personal preferences are as inevitable as they are interminable.
