José-Luis Ruiz, winemaker at Somontano-based Bodegas Olvena, will be introducing his wines

to the UK on the Stratford's stand. On taste will be Olvena

Cuatro, a Tempranillo/Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot/Syrah blend, and Coupage, a Tempranillo/Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot blend. Look out for Hache, a Garnacha/Syrah blend packaged in an unusual square bottle.

Stratford's will initially be targeting the independent trade with the Olvena range, which will retail for between £5.99 and £17.99.

Gonzalez Byass will launch a

limited-production red wine from Arcos de la Fronter a, a region famous for

sherry production. Finca Moncloa is a premium quality Cabernet Sauvignon /Syrah with a retail price of £9.99.

Sample the 2006 vintage of Gonzalez Byass' Altozano range at the show. The wines, which come under the Vino de la Tierra classification, are all bottled under screwcap and include Verdejo, Tempranillo and Shiraz, as well as Tempranillo Rosé, a new addition for 2006.

New Rioja vintages from the Beronia range will also be on taste, as well as still and sparkling wines from

cava winery Castell de Vilarnau. Stand M50

Osborne will be unveiling a new look for its Solaz range, based on the iconic Osborne Bull.

Lewis Jones, marketing director for D&D Wines International, says: "We have been working intensively over the

past few months with a team of designers, Wine Intelligence researchers and key trade buyers to come up with the ultimate packaging for Solaz.

"We are confident

the new look will attract consumers to this progressive Spanish brand."

For the first time Osborne will showcase seven wines, including three reds from the Solaz range, a white, and a new tri-varietal

rosado, made from a blend of Merlot, Shiraz and Petit Verdot.

Also on taste will be the Dominio de Malpica, and the Plural brand made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Mencia. Stand L10

Freixenet will be rolling out a number of new wines including Vaza, an easy-drinking, fruit-driven Rioja from the Solar Viejo winery, and Oroya, which has been developed by Freixenet's Japanese oenologist Yoko Sato to complement



2006 vintages of its Ash Tree Estate wines will be on taste, including Bobal Cabernet Rosado, Chardonnay/Macabeo and Shiraz/Monastrell.

Freixenet will also show its Ferrer Wine Estate - a collection of premium wines that includes the Valdubon range from Ribera del Duero, Vionta from Rías Baixas, which is made from the Albariño grape, Morlanda Crianza and Fra


Also on taste will be limited-production wine CVNE Real de Asúa 1995, Alta Expresión wines from Jesús Madrazo's Contino Estate, and the 2006 vintage of Castillo de Nava Verdejo Sauvignon Blanc from Bodegas Alvarez

Francisco Navarro-López, the owner of Bodegas ­Navarro López, and export manager Ruedi Wildbolz will present a selection of ­Tempranillo-based wines created by winemaker Javier Muños, including new vintages of the Laguna de la Nav a Crianza 2004, the Reserva 2001 and Gran Reserva 2000.

Bottle Green has joined forces with new agency Baron de Ley, which is made up of four wineries : Baron de Ley in Rioja Baja; Bodegas El Meson in Rioja Alavesa; Finca Museum in Cigales

Rioja winery Bodegas Luis Gurpegui Muga will be unveiling limited-production Los Dominios de Berceo Prefiloxérico 2001, its pre-phylloxera single-vineyard wine. Prefiloxérico has a recommended retail price of £26

and is made from hand-picked grapes grown on Gurpegui Muga's 2ha Baños de Ebro vineyard in Rioja. Stand O74

Elena Adell and Diego Pinilla, head winemakers for Campo Viejo and Ysios, will be on Pernod Ricard's stand. Look out for the new Campo Viejo Reserva 2001 and

the company's portfolio of brands for the independent sector, including Aura from Rueda and Terra Douro Albariño from Rías Baixas. Stand D50

Codorníu will introduce

wines from its portfolio of still wines and


and launch a

cava called Teresa Rosado Brut - a blend of Monastrell and Pinot Noir grapes with the latter sourced from Group Codorníu's Raimat vineyards in the DO Costers del Segre . With a n rrp of £7.49, the

rosado will partner the Teresa Brut, which is currently listed in major UK multiples. Codorníu will also

release a

Codorníu Anna Cava 4x20cl carry-pack, which retails at £12.

New releases from the Legaris and Raimat estates will also be showcased.

Codorníu has set aside a designated area on its stand to carry out tailored tastings with staff from Majestic, Oddbins, Threshers and Wine Rack stores in the London and Greater London area. Stand L60

Maria Martinez, winemaker for Rioja-based Bodegas Montecillo, is flying over to be on the HBJ stand on May 22 and 23. Martinez uses only 100 per cent Tempranillo for her red wines, and 100 per cent Viura for the whites, and favours French oak barriques produced at the winery's in-house cooperage, as opposed to the American oak favoured by many Spanish wineries.

Alliance Wine has joined forces with a raft of new producers from Rías Baixas, Somontano, Bierzo, Yecla and Cigales. Highlights include the Caré wines of Cariñena,

cava from Miret and new entry-point brand Centelleo.

Select Spanish Fine Wine is launching its portfolio of Spanish wines. Sourced from small family or boutique wineries, the initial range includes red, white and rosé wines from La Mancha, Navarra, Rías Baixas, Ribera del Duero and Rioja, plus premium cavas and a range of Andalucian sherries.

Names in its portfolio include Alta Pavina, Baldor & Ilex, Bod egas Coloma, Bodegas Otazu, El Grifo, Miros de Ribera and Sol Post & Les Eres.

Bodegas Laus is one of the newest projects in Somontano. Maintaining low yields, it produces premium-grade wines. On taste will be Flor de Chardonnay 2006, Flor de Gewürztraminer 2006, Flor de Merlot 2006, Tinto Crianza 2003, Tinto Reserva 2003 and Tinto Roble 2004. Stand O70

Bodega Tintoralba belongs to the relatively unknown DO Almansa, in the south east of Spain. At an altitude of 1,000 m, it grows Garnacha Tintorera to make Higueruela red and rosé wines, and its range of Crianza Tintoralba which includes Tintoralba Espumoso sparkling wine. Stand N65.46

Laymont & Shaw will
