Bold look for Wild Geese Whisky

01 June, 2007

Protégé International has unveiled a bold new look for its Wild Geese Rare Irish Whisky.

The cube-shaped bottle features a medallion neck collar showing 1691 to commemorate the flight of the Wild Geese - the Irishmen who fled persecution in Ireland. The label has also been redesigned.

Chief executive André Levey said: "We have crafted this new presentation to encapsulate the quality, heritage and individuality of the product and to set it apart from standard spirits in retail stores."

The range will be further extended with the introduction of The Wild Geese Malt, The Wild Geese Classic Blend and The Wild Geese Limited Edition, which commemorates the four centuries since the original Flight of the Earls in 1607.
