Gaymers Original ad campaign is As Good As It Gets

Gaymers has

unveiled a £4 million outdoor and print ad campaign for Gaymers Original, after it repackaged the cider brand in March.

The ads show images of lazy Sunday afternoons with friends, lads' nights out and girls' nights out, with the strapline As Good As It Gets.

It has also

created a consumer website, gaymersoriginal.co.uk.

Managing director John Mills said: "Encouraging consumers to increase the number of occasions they associate with Gaymers Original has always been at the heart of our communication and we wanted this to come across in the advertising.

"By highlighting the times and places where Gaymers Original can be enjoyed, we achieve our objective of getting even more people to include the brand as part of their repertoire."

Few things can bring communal pleasure so intimately as wine. Apart from a hot tub, perhaps. Sport can trigger mass jubilation, film gives us shared empathy, but wine has a nigh-unique ability to bestow conviviality among us through a shared bottle – which makes it especially galling that we spend so much time divided over it.
