Jacob's Creek adds sparkle to radio

A new radio ad campaign has been created to promote Jacob’s Creek’s sparkling wine range.

The “add a bit of sparkle to your life” campaign features two 30 second ads which will be played on Heart FM until Aug 1 and are expected to be heard by more than 500,000 women.

One ad will promote the whole sparkling range while the other will specifically support Jacob’s Creek sparkling rosé.

Adrian Atkinson, wine development director at Pernod Ricard UK said: “Radio is a very effective tool to reach our Jacob’s Creek target audience and drive awareness of our top-selling sparkling range. It delivers a very targeted message and enables us to bring the brand’s personality to life.”

Few things can bring communal pleasure so intimately as wine. Apart from a hot tub, perhaps. Sport can trigger mass jubilation, film gives us shared empathy, but wine has a nigh-unique ability to bestow conviviality among us through a shared bottle – which makes it especially galling that we spend so much time divided over it.
