Published:  27 July, 2007

Scottish & Newcastle UK has made innovation director Sarah Warby its new marketing director, replacing Tim Seager who became acting managing director in June. Seager said Warby's appointment would "strengthen our drive to become a brands-led, consumer-focused business".

Warby joined S&N UK in 2004 in the new product development team and had a spell as marketing manager for Foster's before becoming innovation director, a job in which she was heavily involved in the development of Foster's Twist, Jacques, Bulmers Original and Sirrus.

Seager became acting managing director of S&N UK after John Dunsmore's move to lead S&N's new western Europe division.
