Cellar Trends distributes Patron spirits
The Patron Sprits Company has signed an agreement with independent distributor Cellar Trends to sell its portfolio of spirits, including
Partida tequila , in the UK.
Packaged in a bulb-shaped clear bottle with a cork stopper, the range of three tequilas starts at £42.99 for the blanco
rising to £53.99 for the anejo.
Las Vegas-based Patron's
chief operating officer, John McDonnell,
said: "The interest in Patron and other ultra-premium tequilas and high-end spirits continues to skyrocket in the UK.
"In Cellar Trends
we've found a partner with a proven track record in building successful brands."
The agreement will also include the introduction of Pyrat rum in the UK. The three-strong range includes Pyrat XO Reserve
Rum - a blend of 15
Old Caribbean rums - and a limited production ultra-premium aged rum, Pyrat Cask 1623.
The deal marks another stage in Cellar Trends' recent burst of activity. Last month the independent distributor announced it had taken on Fior Brands, the joint distribution venture set up by Campari International and Morrison Bowmore Distillers, bringing major spirits labels including Campari, Cinzano and Skyy
vodka into its portfolio.
