Wines of Argentina announces annual tasting

06 August, 2007

The Wines of Argentina Annual Trade Tasting is to take place on Sep 19 at Lord's Cricket Ground.

More than 80 tables will exhibit 1,000 wines and a number of Argentine wine personalities will present a series of seminars at the Natwest Media Centre throughout the day.

Two satellite tables will also feature at this year's tasting. Mendoza Malbec 2007 will show three wines from each of the top ten sub-regions of Mendoza and Off the Beaten Track will show off Argentina’s wealth and depth of grape varieties.

James Forbes, WofA UK director said: “Although we are very much focussed on the commercial side of the event at the same time we need to cater for as broad a spectrum of visitors as possible. I think this year whether on trade, off trade, writer or educator we will tick all the boxes”

To register to attend visit or call the WofA office on 020 8973 4023.

The tasting catalogue will be available to view online at the above address from Sep 1 or through Tasting Buddy from Sep 10.
