Vision Capital duo on Thresher board

Thresher's board has been joined by two executives from Vision Capital, which took control of the off-licence operator in June.

They are managing director Scott Greenhalgh, and director Rob Kendall.

The deal was completed two weeks ago and both Vision men have attended their first Thresher board meeting, according to chief executive Roger Whiteside.

The company is in a "continuing process of review," Whiteside said, and was assessing its progress in several areas including the convenience offering at The Local, wine specialism at Wine Rack and the franchising opportunity.
