Those not currently actively involved in the wine industry may be required to attend an interview. Applicants will be informed of the results in late October.

Application forms are available on the IMW's website at, or from the executive office on 0207 621 2830.

The IMW was established in London in 1953, and more than 2,000 candidates have sat its wine exams since then. It has 257 members from 22 countries.
