Free video podcast heralds launch of Virtual Wine School

23 August, 2007

Berry Bros & Rudd has launched its Virtual Wine School with the release of the first of six free video podcasts.

The podcasts - hosted by Rebecca Lamont, who runs Berry's Wine School - are

aimed at wine enthusiasts who want to increase their understanding and appreciation of wine.

Lamont said: "The six episodes focus on the world's finest grape varieties and the different styles produced in the major regions of the world. We cover basic tasting techniques, putting words to wine and try to find out what you like and why." The course also touches on matching food with wine.

The first lesson can be downloaded from bbr.com/virtualwineschool - the remaining five will be released at fortnightly intervals over the next 10 weeks.
