Winners can chill out 'Aussie-style'

XXXX is running a radio promotion giving stressed office workers the chance to relax "Aussie-style".

The promotion, which aims to celebrate XXXX's sponsorship of the Rugby League, will run throughout September on Century FM and Real Radio, and is expected to reach 850,000 listeners.

They will be invited to nominate a colleague or friend who is in the most "desperate" working environment. Four winners will each be announced on a Friday afternoon, "rescued" from work in a pick-up truck, and taken to a party in their own home, where they will be entertained by a stand-up comedian and treated to an Aussie-style barbecue and XXXX.

InBev UK marketing director Vikki Babb said: "We all live in an increasingly pressurised work environment and XXXX is setting out to bring some light relief to blokes who need to be given a break from their demanding jobs."

In October the brand will be offering radio listeners the chance to win tickets to a rugby league match.

Few things can bring communal pleasure so intimately as wine. Apart from a hot tub, perhaps. Sport can trigger mass jubilation, film gives us shared empathy, but wine has a nigh-unique ability to bestow conviviality among us through a shared bottle ľ which makes it especially galling that we spend so much time divided over it.
