23 August, 2007

AnCnoc has joined Scotland's Sunday Herald to find the country's best blogger.

The competition invites readers to post blogs about Scotland's culture under the title of My Modern Scotland.

Well known Scots, including writer Ian Pattison and Idlewild's Roddy Woomble, have posted their own blogs on the website to kick-start the competition.

The winning entry will receive a writing masterclass with author Alan Spence before a night at Edinburgh's Apex hotel. Brand manager Elaine Mitchell said: "Blogging has become an international phenomenon and an exciting new way for people to communicate and share ideas. We are excited to understand how people feel about their Scotland."
