Polish push for Makro

28 August, 2007

Cash and carry operator Makro is launching a range of Polish products in some of its stores.

Customers at 18 selected stores – in areas with established Polish communities – will be able to pick from 100 lines, including Tyskie and Lech beer and confectionery.

Makro's customer manager Kenny Jacobs said: "With reports that eastern European communities in the UK are growing, we want to ensure we have the products these communities need so we are giving the best level of service."

The range is now available from Makro stores in Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds, Nottingham, North Acton, Wolverhampton, Southampton, Leicester, Enfield, Coventry, Edinburgh, Sheffield, Belfast, Charlton, Reading and Croydon.
