Scratchcard prizes show off WKD side

Over 200,000 prizes including shop makeovers and CCTV camera systems are still up for grabs in Beverage Brands' latest promotion.

First rolled out in July, the "WKD or Not" give away offers retailers a chance to win prizes ranging from a people carrier to upright fridges, open/closed door signs and cool bags.

"In true WKD style there's always a WKD side to any of the brand's activity - the big question is whether the prize is WKD or not," a spokeswoman explain ed. "Rather than a people carrier, they might win some carrier bags, the prize could be an air conditioning unit, on the other hand it could be a WKD desk fan," she said.

Scratchcards can be found on promotional cases of WKD and prizes can be claimed until Jan 30 2008.

WKD is back on TV screens

with the Have You Got a WKD Side? campaign. Ads will air on terrestial TV and Sky Sports.

Few things can bring communal pleasure so intimately as wine. Apart from a hot tub, perhaps. Sport can trigger mass jubilation, film gives us shared empathy, but wine has a nigh-unique ability to bestow conviviality among us through a shared bottle ľ which makes it especially galling that we spend so much time divided over it.
