Celebrate British Beer 2016

Off Licence News is seeking the UK's best British beer retailers who will be crowned at an awards ceremony co-hosted by OLN editor Martin Green and Burton upon Trent MP Andrew Griffiths at the Houses of Parliament on Monday 17th October.

If you are a licenced retailer and wish to nominate yourself, or want to nominate a retailer, please fill out the form below and include a statement in fewer than 250 words why they should win an award.

Richard Hemming MW: beware inverse snobbery

Few things can bring communal pleasure so intimately as wine. Apart from a hot tub, perhaps. Sport can trigger mass jubilation, film gives us shared empathy, but wine has a nigh-unique ability to bestow conviviality among us through a shared bottle – which makes it especially galling that we spend so much time divided over it.
